Terms of Service

Welcome to CleaningBasi.com. By scheduling, booking, or receiving services from Basi ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"), you agree to the following Terms of Service.
1. Services
Basi provides professional upholstery cleaning, sofa cleaning, sectional cleaning, carpet cleaning, rug cleaning, mattress cleaning, stain treatment, odor treatment, and related cleaning services.
All services are performed using professional equipment and cleaning solutions designed for residential and commercial environments.
2. Estimates and Pricing
All estimates provided by phone, email, SMS, social media, website forms, or other communication channels are based on the information provided by the customer.
Final pricing may change if:
The actual size or condition differs from the information provided.
Additional services are requested.
Excessive soiling, pet contamination, stains, or specialty fabrics require additional labor or treatment.
The number of seats, rooms, or square footage differs from the original request.
Any price adjustment will be discussed and approved before work begins.
Prices, promotions, and discounts are subject to change at any time without notice. However, confirmed appointments will honor the quoted price unless the scope of work changes.
3. Appointment Scheduling
Appointments are scheduled based on availability.
While we strive to arrive within the scheduled time window, traffic, weather, equipment issues, or prior jobs may occasionally affect arrival times.
Basi is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control.
4. Cancellation and Rescheduling
We request at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
The following fees may apply:
Cancellation with less than 24 hours notice: up to $65 cancellation fee.
If our technician arrives and cannot access the property, a trip charge of up to $65 may apply.
We reserve the right to waive these fees at our discretion.
5. Customer Responsibilities
The customer agrees to:
Provide safe access to the service area.
Ensure water and electricity are available.
Secure pets during the appointment.
Remove fragile, valuable, or sentimental items from the work area.
Inform us of any pre-existing damage, specialty fabrics, pet accidents, odors, stains, or other relevant conditions.
Basi is not responsible for damage to items that remain in the work area and were not disclosed prior to service.
6. Stain, Odor, and Spot Removal Disclaimer
While we use professional cleaning methods and products, no company can guarantee the removal of all stains, odors, discoloration, or contamination.
Certain conditions may be permanent, including but not limited to:
Bleach damage
Dye transfer
Paint
Ink
Rust
Pet urine contamination
Chemical damage
Fabric wear
Sun fading
Some stains may reappear during the drying process ("wicking").
Payment is for the cleaning process performed and not for guaranteed stain removal.
7. Fabric and Material Conditions
Cleaning may reveal pre-existing conditions such as:
Fabric wear
Fading
Weak fibers
Color loss
Previous cleaning damage
Hidden stains
Basi is not responsible for damage resulting from pre-existing conditions, manufacturer defects, age, or normal wear and tear.
8. Drying Time
Drying times vary based on:
Humidity
Airflow
Fabric type
Carpet thickness
Environmental conditions
Typical drying times range from couple of hours to 24 hours.
Customers should avoid heavy use of cleaned areas until sufficiently dry.
Basi is not responsible for issues resulting from walking on damp surfaces or inadequate ventilation after service.
9. Satisfaction Guarantee
Customer satisfaction is important to us.
If you are dissatisfied with any portion of the service, you must notify us within 48 hours of service completion by emailing go@cleaningbasi.com.
At our discretion, we may:
Re-clean the affected area at no additional charge.
Offer a partial service credit.
Provide another reasonable solution.
Refunds are not guaranteed and are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Basi's liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the service performed.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, wear, fading, shrinkage, color loss, manufacturer defects, or issues not caused directly by our negligence.
11. Health and Safety
For safety reasons, customers agree to:
Keep children and pets away from work areas and equipment.
Follow any drying or safety instructions provided by our technicians.
Avoid walking on freshly cleaned surfaces until reasonably safe.
Wet carpets, rugs, and upholstery may create slip hazards during drying.
12. Payment Terms
Payment is due Immediately Upon Completion of Service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We accept approved payment methods including Cash, Credit Card, Debit Card or Zelle.
Failure to pay may result in collection efforts and additional fees permitted by law.
13. Website Information
Information provided on CleaningBasi.com is for general informational purposes only.
We reserve the right to update service descriptions, pricing, promotions, and website content at any time without notice.
14. Changes to These Terms
Basi reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time.
Updated versions will be posted on CleaningBasi.com and become effective immediately upon publication.
16. Minimum Service Charge
Basi maintains a minimum service charge of $200 per visit.
This minimum applies regardless of the size of the project and covers travel time, equipment setup, labor, and operational costs.
Certain promotions may temporarily waive or modify this minimum at our discretion.
17. Furniture Moving Policy
To ensure safety and prevent damage, our technicians are not responsible for moving:
Electronics
Televisions
Computers
Antiques
Fragile items
Pianos
Aquariums
Artwork
Valuable collectibles
Oversized or unusually heavy furniture
We may move light furniture when necessary and safe to do so. Any furniture moved by our technicians will be returned to its original location when reasonably possible.
The customer is responsible for removing breakable, valuable, or fragile items before service begins.
Basi is not responsible for damage resulting from unstable, improperly assembled, weakened, or previously damaged furniture.
18. Pet Urine and Odor Treatment Disclaimer
Pet urine contamination can penetrate deep into fabrics, cushions, carpet padding, subfloors, and other underlying materials.
While our treatments are designed to significantly reduce odors and contamination, complete odor removal cannot be guaranteed in all situations.
Factors that may affect results include:
Age of contamination
Extent of contamination
Previous cleaning attempts
Material type
Underlying damage
In severe cases, replacement of padding, foam, carpet, or other materials may be necessary to fully eliminate odors.
Payment is for the treatment process performed and not for guaranteed odor elimination.
19. Before and After Photos
Basi may take photographs or videos of service areas before, during, and after cleaning for quality control, training, documentation, and marketing purposes.
We will make reasonable efforts to avoid capturing personal information, family photographs, addresses, or identifying details.
By receiving our services, you grant Basi permission to use non-identifiable images of cleaned surfaces, upholstery, mattresses, carpets, and rugs for promotional and marketing purposes, including:
Website content
Social media posts
Online advertising
Printed marketing materials
If you prefer that photographs not be used for marketing purposes, please notify us before service begins.
20. SMS, Email, and Phone Communications
By requesting an estimate, submitting a form, contacting us, or scheduling a service, you consent to receive communications from Cleaning Basi, including:
Appointment confirmations
Service reminders
Estimate follow-ups
Customer service communications
Review requests
Promotional offers and updates
Communications may be sent by:
SMS/Text Message
Email
Phone Call
Voicemail
Message and data rates may apply.
You may opt out of promotional communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in the communication or by contacting us at go@cleaningbasi.com.
Opting out of promotional messages will not prevent us from sending appointment-related or service-related communications.
21. Access and Service Refusal
Basi reserves the right to refuse, discontinue, or cancel service if:
Unsafe working conditions exist.
Aggressive pets are present.
The environment poses a health or safety risk.
Required utilities are unavailable.
Conditions differ substantially from those described during booking.
The customer engages in abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or inappropriate behavior.
In such cases, a trip charge may apply.
22. Force Majeure
Basi shall not be liable for delays, interruptions, or inability to perform services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
Severe weather
Floods
Hurricanes
Power outages
Equipment failures
Transportation disruptions
Government restrictions
Natural disasters
In such situations, appointments may be rescheduled without penalty.
23. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or services provided by Basi shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Florida.
